Can the Xbox 360 record tv shows like DVR?

Well, i'm goiong to get an Xbox 360 and i want to fully understand the functions of the media center with Windows Vista. I went to their website, but i still don't understand if you watch tv shows that are recorded from the PC or from the Xbox? So if it's watching from the Xbox, will it record a show like a DVR with setting a time and program. i think i saw that in a video on the xbox 360 website but i'm still not sure.

Depending on the version of Vista and the hardware on your PC, you will be able to record TV shows on to the hard drive of your PC. From there, if you have your 360 networked, you will be able to stream the recorded shows from your PC to your 360. You can stream almost any media from your PC to your 360 (videos, music etc).

All of the above being said, the 360 does not work as a PVR/DVR. You cannot record TV shows to your 360鈥檚 hard drive and stream them back to your PC, nor can you stream live TV from the 360 to your PC.

You can however, stream live TV from your PC to your 360.
