How do I rip a tv show I recorded with my dvd recorder?

I have a dvd recorder which I use instead of a vcr to record tv shows and movies onto dvd-rw. I was wondering how I could rip these things to my PC in order to edit them then burn to dvd-r. Also, what program would I use to edit them? I have DVD Decrypter, DVD Shrink, AutoGK, NTI CD %26amp; DVD Maker 7 and CyberLink Power Producer on my PC already.

Thanks

DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink could make a DVD copy to your pc, but not convert it to video.

You need a DVD ripper.

Try handbrake. It's total free and converts DVD files, including protected DVD, to various video formats.Download here:

There is a guide about how to rip DVD to video with a similar software:

You need a dvd ripper to do this, because most applications cannot rip dvds. You can try aimersoft dvd ripper, it can help you rip your dvds into common video formats (WMV, AVI, MPEG, Mp4, etc) easily, and you can also rip the dvds by setting the starting time and ending time, so that you needn't to rip the whole DVD.
